TASTING NOTES: Recognized as a national emblem of the Romanian vineyards, Feteasca Neagra, a Moldavian variety, fells at Cotnari like home. In the glass, this ruby red wine with noble purple reflexes meets you cute with a unique and elegant flavor, gradually opening to new sensory horizons. Typical of Feteasca Negru variety, the notes of slightly smoked dried plums are complemented by black cherries, mature cherries, blackberries, blueberries and blackcurrants. Flavors evolve to tobacco leaves, chocolate and spices (green pepper, cinnamon and jenibahar), with a rough, almost mentholic and extremely pleasant note. The gustatory attack is delicate, but with a strong personality, highlighted by the tanned velvety and the fruity nature (blackberries and blackcurrants, followed by black cherry notes).
